8. Check In With Your Family。
Nothing warms the heart like connecting with your loved ones. So, really, what better way to start your day than to check in with Mom or to spend a few extra minutes with the kids. Not only will this bring you closer to the people you care about most, but it will reaffirm the support networks we all need in life. In general, men with strong family ties tend to live longer, have a higher satisfaction with their lives and engage in healthier lifestyle choices on the whole. Plus, you’ll be able to take pride in the fact that you’re being a good husband, son, father, etc., which will give you a little confidence boost as you set about your day.。
7. Get Organized。
So many stresses in life are due to being unorganized. Letting things slide inevitably gives them more power to wreak havoc on our lives as they insist more and more aggressively to be dealt with. As things pile up, your ability to deal with them will be compromised. Giving yourself a little extra time in the morning to tidy up your apartment, pay your bills, plan your vacation and make your appointments will get those things off your plate and off your mind while you’re dealing with the stress of working. And when you get home from a long day, you’ll be free to unwind in peace in a clean environment with no worries.。
6. Be In The Know。
Find 10 to 20 minutes every morning to read the news. Knowing what’s going on in the world will help you become a natural conversationalist in the office instead of a weary head-nodder who’s slumped over his coffee while someone else leads all the chatter. Plus, the more you read, the more you’ll know, which will help you stand out from the people who only pretend to be informed by regurgitating what they saw on The Daily Show the night before. Also, the practice of reading exercises your brain and promotes general comprehension, not to mention that knowing what’s going on around you makes you a more conscientious citizen of the world, so start taking the time to become more connected to community and your interests while reaping the social benefits of reading.。
5. Proper Breakfast。
You’ve heard it since you were forced to repeat it as a little kid: Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Well, it didn’t get any less true as you turned into a grown-up. If anything, as the daily responsibilities start piling up, the more you can benefit from a healthy, balanced breakfast. (Sorry, guys, coffee and doughnuts don’t cut it.) Studies have shown for decades that breakfast helps kick-start your body’s metabolism, reducing hunger throughout the day; helps lower cholesterol; improves concentration; and tastes freaking delicious. So why do most people skip this all-important meal? Laziness. Which, if you’re like us, is not how you want to be described.。
4. Shower
Sure, you can snag an extra 10 minutes or so in the comfort of your bed if you take a shower the night before, but besides waking up with the worst, most unmanageable hair imaginable, you’ll also be missing out on perks like improved circulation, loosening up of any phlegmthat may have built up in your lungs overnight (that’s when it happens most!) and the pure wakefulness a morning shower provides. If you’re feeling particularly brave, try taking a cold shower, which amplifies these benefits.。
3. Get Up Early。
早起
Doing a lot of the things on this list will not be possible if you’re literally jumping out of bed at the last possible second, giving yourself just enough time to throw on some clothes and head to work. This is a surefire recipe for taking on stress before you’ve even sat down at your desk. By getting up early, you can avoid commute-related stress, enjoy your breakfast, make plans for your day and even get a few minutes to relax instead of frantically trying to get your stuff together so as not to get chewed out by your boss for being late.。
2. Stretch
No, you don’t have to do an hour-long hot yoga class every morning (though it couldn’t hurt). Instead, we’re simply advocating a handful of simple stretches to help snap your body out of its slumber. The benefits of a few early-morning stretches include improved blood flow to your muscles and your brain, which will help keep you from feeling groggy at your desk or incapable of concentrating on your work. Stretching regularly will also help you avoid pulling a muscle or quell an existing back pain by softening the muscles around your spine. On top of that, it'll improve your circulation, which is good for all your vital organs. Ten minutes is all you need.Don't forget to also do some daily brain exercises to keep your neurons active.。
1.Drink Water
喝水
You’ve heard it said a million times: Drink more water. If you’re wondering why this is such an enduring piece of advice, let us remind you. Drinking water first thing, on an empty stomach, helps purify your colon, which will make it easier to digest your meals throughout the day and will increase your body’s abilities to absorb nutrients. Also, water will help you produce new blood cells, which will literally make you feel like a new person. Still not sold? Early-morning water consumption also boosts your metabolism, making it easier to lose weight. Not to mention, water helps you maintain a youthful appearance, can remedy or prevent dozens of conditions like the flu, kidney stones, heart disease, colon cancer, headaches and dehydration -- and it flushes nasty toxins out of your body. If that’s not enough to make you chug a nice, cold glass of H2O every morning, then you deserve to be miserable.。
The Legend of Nian。
In the depths of Chinese antiquity there is a legend 传说 (chuan shuo) about a violent flesh-eating predatory mammal(meng shou) by the name of nian 年.。
The word legend is made up of 传 (chuan) meaning "to pass on" from generation to generation, and 说 (shou) to "explain or to say". The tales were seen as tradition, and explained characteristic customs, values and ways of thinking, and the legends spread widely throughout China.。
Nian was an enormous, ferocious, violent, single-horned 独角(du jiao) wild beast, with sharp teeth 牙齿 (ya chi) and a long, powerful tail 尾巴 (weiba). 。
If you look at the character 年 (nian) you can see Nian's features clearly. First, the left downward stroke corresponds to the single horn of this beast. The two horizontal strokes inside represent the sharp long teeth. The inside vertical stroke symbolizes the beast's body and robust long tail.。
Nian destroyed the all-important cereal crops, and reputedly swallowed whole people and other living things alive. So naturally everybody came to be in a state of fear and great anxiety as their lives could all be in danger. Many chose simply to hide to escape this menacing beast, and try to avoid suffering disaster.。
Nian also had a "partner in crime," called "chuxi," who was also a violent, flesh-eating mammal. This menace always came on the last day of the year, at nightfall, to seek and destroy. Nian came the following day. (Today we have the name of chuxi in the name "New Year's Eve")。
However, the village people, as keen observers of human nature, found out later that nian was greatly afraid of the cracking sound of bamboo when it was split (pao zhu), and apparently ran away for another year. Chu Xi was terrified of the sight of fire, 怕 (pa huo) and when he saw the sight of a blazing fire, he quickly fled.。
So the villagers decided to build a huge fire, with blazing, sparking, firewood. When Chu Xi saw the fire, he retreated. After midnight, the people began splitting bamboo making sure that the 啪啪 (pa pa) sound could be clearly heard. Nian ,too, took off like a shot. It was also told in the tale, that after the Chinese invented gunpowder, Nian never appeared again. 。
Once the two menacing enemies of the villagers had gone, the villagers went back to their homes, put on their best clothes, and made sacrificial offerings. They kowtowed and bid obedience to the gods for averting disaster, and restoring peace to the community.。

To see a world in a grain of sand。

And eternity in an hour.。

Auguries of Innocence。
To see a world in a grain of sand。
And a heaven in a wild flower,。
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand。
And eternity in an hour.。
A robin redbreast in a cage。
Puts all heaven in a rage.。
A dove-house filled with doves and pigeons。
Shudders hell through all its regions.。
A dog starved at his master's gate。
Predicts the ruin of the state.。
A horse misused upon the road。
Calls to heaven for human blood.。
Each outcry of the hunted hare。
A fibre from the brain does tear.。
A skylark wounded in the wing,。
A cherubim does cease to sing.。
The game-cock clipped and armed for fight。
Does the rising sun affright.。
Every wolf's and lion's howl。
Raises from hell a human soul.。
The wild deer wandering here and there。
Keeps the human soul from care.。
The lamb misused breeds public strife,。
And yet forgives the butcher's knife.。
The bat that flits at close of eve。
Has left the brain that won't believe.。
The owl that calls upon the night。
Speaks the unbeliever's fright.。
He who shall hurt the little wren。
Shall never be beloved by men.。
He who the ox to wrath has moved。
Shall never be by woman loved.。
The wanton boy that kills the fly。
Shall feel the spider's enmity.。
He who torments the chafer's sprite。
Weaves a bower in endless night.。
The caterpillar on the leaf。
Repeats to thee thy mother's grief.。
Kill not the moth nor butterfly,。
For the Last Judgment draweth nigh.。
He who shall train the horse to war。
Shall never pass the polar bar.。
The beggar's dog and widow's cat,。
Feed them, and thou wilt grow fat.。
The gnat that sings his summer's song。
Poison gets from Slander's tongue.。
The poison of the snake and newt。
Is the sweat of Envy's foot.。
The poison of the honey-bee。
Is the artist's jealousy.。
The prince's robes and beggar's rags。
Are toadstools on the miser's bags.。
A truth that's told with bad intent。
Beats all the lies you can invent.。
It is right it should be so:。
Man was made for joy and woe;。
And when this we rightly know。
Through the world we safely go.。
Joy and woe are woven fine,。
A clothing for the soul divine.。
Under every grief and pine。
Runs a joy with silken twine.。
The babe is more than swaddling bands,。
Throughout all these human lands;。
Tools were made and born were hands,。
Every farmer understands.。
Every tear from every eye。
Becomes a babe in eternity;。
This is caught by females bright。
And returned to its own delight.。
The bleat, the bark, bellow, and roar。
Are waves that beat on heaven's shore.。
The babe that weeps the rod beneath。
Writes Revenge! in realms of death.。
The beggar's rags fluttering in air。
Does to rags the heavens tear.。
The soldier armed with sword and gun。
Palsied strikes the summer's sun.。
The poor man's farthing is worth more。
Than all the gold on Afric's shore.。
One mite wrung from the labourer's hands。
Shall buy and sell the miser's lands,。
Or if protected from on high。
Does that whole nation sell and buy.。
He who mocks the infant's faith。
Shall be mocked in age and death.。
He who shall teach the child to doubt。
The rotting grave shall ne'er get out.。
He who respects the infant's faith。
Triumphs over hell and death.。
The child's toys and the old man's reasons。
Are the fruits of the two seasons.。
The questioner who sits so sly。
Shall never know how to reply.。
He who replies to words of doubt。
Doth put the light of knowledge out.。
The strongest poison ever known。
Came from Caesar's laurel crown.。
Nought can deform the human race。
Like to the armour's iron brace.。
When gold and gems adorn the plough。
To peaceful arts shall Envy bow.。
A riddle or the cricket's cry。
Is to doubt a fit reply.。
The emmet's inch and eagle's mile。
Make lame philosophy to smile.。
He who doubts from what he sees。
Will ne'er believe, do what you please.。
If the sun and moon should doubt,。
They'd immediately go out.。
To be in a passion you good may do,。
But no good if a passion is in you.。
The whore and gambler, by the state。
Licensed, build that nation's fate.。
The harlot's cry from street to street。
Shall weave old England's winding sheet.。
The winner's shout, the loser's curse,。
Dance before dead England's hearse.。
Every night and every morn。
Some to misery are born.。
Every morn and every night。
Some are born to sweet delight.。
Some are born to sweet delight,。
Some are born to endless night.。
We are led to believe a lie。
When we see not through the eye。
Which was born in a night to perish in a night,。
When the soul slept in beams of light.。
God appears, and God is light。
To those poor souls who dwell in night,。
But does a human form display。
To those who dwell in realms of day.。
